JUSTIFICATION
Christians are like snow covered dungYou ungodly one! You vile, helpless, miserable sinner
There never was a fountain like this
The puddle of their own merit!
The unsearchable riches of Christ
There, in the solitudes of that voiceless ocean — a plunge is heard
He seems to grow more like Satan!
Bring nothing but your sins and miseries
The best of us are but a mixture of dirt and sin!
He was the only innocent man ever to be punished by God
Oh, what a glorious truth is this
Now, what do you think of my religion?
It will not matter a single straw
There is neither speck, nor spot, nor wrinkle
Oh! our monster sins, our horrible sins, our damnable sins!
What are all your sorrows, your cares, and your losses?
The free, sovereign grace of God
The great mistake made by most of the Lord's people
There is a 'buoyancy' in the cross
He has blotted out this whole fearful record
Poor, miserable, paltry works of a polluted worm
