CHARACTER AND DOOM OF THE WICKED
by Spurgeon-
PSALM 1:4 "Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that
the wind blows away."
Here is the CHARACTER of the wicked--
"they are like chaff,"
intrinsically worthless,
dead,
unserviceable,
without substance,
and easily carried away.
Here, also, mark the DOOM of the wicked--
"that the wind blows away;"
death will hurry them with its terrible blast
into the fire in which they will be utterly consumed.
