To Christ, we are unutterably dear.
He loved us up out of the pit into his bosom.
He loved us up from the dunghill among beggars
to sit at his right hand upon his throne.
The love of Jesus for us, answered by our love to Jesus,
makes the sweetest music the heart can know.
No joy on earth is equal to the bliss of
being all taken up with love to Christ.
