As there are infinite varieties in Christian experience,
so there is a propriety in narrating the great story of the
Christian's pilgrimage in different forms. Those who have
read Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" will find MacDuff's 50 page
allegory no copy, but a spirited example of the same style.
