The greatest crime ever committed, became the means by which God accomplished the greatest salvation ever given.

Only infinite wisdom could ordain such glory from such evil.

Only infinite power could bring everlasting life from the death of His beloved Son.

Only infinite goodness could transform the curse into eternal blessing for His people.

If God governs the cross with such perfect wisdom, shall we not trust Him with our own lives?

How often we see only scattered pieces, while He beholds the completed masterpiece.

We feel confusion.
He sees perfect order.

We experience delay.
He knows the appointed hour.

We encounter closed doors.
He prepares better paths.

We mourn painful providences.
He is weaving eternal joy through present sorrow.

The believer may not understand God's ways, but he may always trust God's heart.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9

One day faith shall become sight.
The tangled threads of providence shall be unfolded:
Every unanswered prayer.
Every delayed blessing.
Every painful affliction.
Every mysterious loss.
Every hidden mercy.
Every unexpected deliverance.
Every dark valley.
Every joyful mountain.

All shall be seen as parts of one infinitely beautiful design woven by the hands of perfect wisdom, almighty power, and unfailing love!

Then every redeemed saint shall confess that:
  not one event could have been improved,
  not one sorrow was unnecessary,
  not one mercy was misplaced,
  and not one moment was outside the perfect government of our heavenly Father.

Until that glorious day, let us rest beneath the shadow of His sovereign loving care:
The God who fashioned every star, also directs every step of His children.
The God who sustains every atom, also sustains every believer.
The God who governs the universe, also governs every detail of our lives!

His wisdom never errs.
His power never weakens.
His goodness never fails.
His providence never sleeps.
