He conquered death.

We are weak, but He is strong.
We are sinful, but He is righteous.

We fail, but He never fails.
We change, but He never changes.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

The believer's salvation does not rest upon the strength of his grip upon Jesus, but upon the strength of Jesus' grip upon him.

SOLUS CHRISTUS

Beloved, Christianity without Jesus is nothing.

Take Jesus away, and there is no gospel.
Take Jesus away, and there is no forgiveness.
Take Jesus away, and there is no righteousness.
Take Jesus away, and there is no reconciliation with God.
Take Jesus away, and there is no eternal life.
Take Jesus away, and there is no hope.

But give the sinner Jesus, and he has everything he needs:
Jesus is our righteousness.
Jesus is our redemption.
Jesus is our sanctification.
Jesus is our peace.
Jesus is our life.
Jesus is our hope.
Jesus is our Savior.

"For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." Romans 10:4

Therefore, let us never give Jesus merely a place among many religious authorities.

Let us never reduce Him to a teacher, example, prophet, or moral guide.

He is infinitely more.
He is the Son of God.
He is the Savior.
He is the Mediator.
He is the Redeemer.
He is the Lord.

And He alone is sufficient:
When the sinner comes to Him empty-handed, Jesus does not send him away.
When the guilty sinner trusts Him, Jesus does not condemn him.
When the broken sinner flees to Him, Jesus receives him.
When the believer stumbles, Jesus remains faithful.

And when God's redeemed people finally enter glory, their song will not be about themselves.

Love Jesus.
