Two paths

"For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
 but the path of the wicked leads to destruction."
     Psalm 1:6

Amid all their trials, sorrows, pains and
reproaches; let the godly lift up rejoicing heads.

The eye of God rests on their way.

He called them to the narrow path.

He upholds their feeble steps.

He safely leads them to the glorious end.

Unfailing watchfulness surrounds them.

But the broad path, with its unrighteous
throng, goes down assuredly to hell.
